Understand the process.

Buying real estate is a complex matter and can be especially confusing for the first-time homebuyer. Please learn as much about the process as you can before you begin.  We have buyer education classes regularly and provided printed guidance to all clients.

Use a REALTOR(R).

As a buyer, it costs you nothing to hire a real estate professional to help you find and purchase a home--I will likely get a commission from the listing broker as part of his marketing.   Texas law created the buyer's agent concept and the feduciary responsibilty that your agent accepts.  It does not matter who pays your agent.  Get it in writing by requesting a buyer's agent agreement.

Sellers Education

Selling real estate is also a complex process.  Yes, like most things you can do it yourself.  All we ask is that you educate yourself before making that decision.  You are likely to find out that the world has changed since the last time you sold.  Another factor to consider is the community attitude.  As a " for sale by owner" property, your property will not attract the best qualified buyers and you will be dealing directly with risky buyers in most cases.  Please consider using a professional agent and getting full service for your money
